After all the forest fires this autumn, after the driest summer on record, and us breaking our all time record for driest year....it was great to see the weather here return to normal. So last night the Lonestar went on a wander in town, through the mists and rain, with me. It was good to see my young friend Marissa, one of the shift managers at Rembrandt's and a great barista who makes a mean latte. Also picked up some treats for the wife and daughter...and of course one for myself as well :)

Raining for days here as well. Cold wet rain. Just beautiful. So badly needed.

And the woods now are so quiet.

Yeah, pouring rain here still this morning, after raining all night. I'm regretting leaving my utility wagon out in the back yard where I was doing some clean up, but it is nice to see it overflowing with water. I'm looking forward to some time in the woods tomorrow :)

Must be raining on the whole eastern seaboard.

I think it has been. Looks like it won't rain much more for the next seven days, but the extended forecast says it will be raining for the entire seven days after that. We certainly need it here. We are over 20 inches behind on rain.

good stuff. I like that Lone Star.

Me too! It's gotten a lot of carry and use time since I got it, and it's definitely one of my favorite edc models. I really hope to land another one in tapered 5/32 like this one later, but A2 with a swedge and synthetic handle scales, just for rainy day/night carry :)

Been praying for rain up in your neck of the woods... glad to see some came

I'd take rain over the -20* we have here, not counting wind chill.

Great night shots of the city Mist, I love the lighting. Which city is that if you don't mind me asking, looks very nice.

We have been in bad need of rain for may weeks. Thanks man, that is from a wander in Chattanooga Tennessee.
