Back to sharks

It just didn't want to die. I would not jump in. There should be a rifle for that somewhere's...

Does he need a separate cabin for his gonads to sleep in?! Or do they take up the space where his brain is supposed to be? ;)

So we need a 48" AK, Hmm

I have seen what those "power head/bangsticks" can do and am very surprised they did not kill it. Mayabe they had a bad time deploying it.

I like what the diver said, "I know they (great whites) are becoming extinct. But there is only one of me and it could have made me extinct very quickly."

In my opinion the Great Whites maybe should be extinct. I have seen "Jaws" and the like :o

Mmmmm, Great White Shark Steaks! I wonder if they will eat it or let it go to waste? ;) :D
And are Great Whites even edible? Not too many things that eat humans are, even bear meat isn't all that good unless what I ate wasn't fixed right, it was awful fatty.

And are Great Whites even edible

Not sure. SOme sharks can be pretty nasty eating. SOmething about the blood acting like our livers do. The meat ends up soaking up alot of body wastes IIRC:barf:

a lot of shark meat is sold as 'scallops', if your scallops are all the same size & look like they're perfect circles, odds are they are shark masquerading as the more expensive scallop.

i sympathise with the diver, fish can be extraordinarily tough, my cutter was anchored in one of the little bays in the aleutians one sunday, one of the deckies was fishing off the stern & thought he'd snagged a big rock. turned out to be a 250+ lb. fluke (think BIG flounder). 4 hrs later he'd got it to the surface ( a relay of crewmen manned the pole, switching off as they tired ). after unsuccessful attempts to gaff it, the captain allowed a launch to be lowered, they tried from that, no luck. one of the cox's asked for his .44 mag from the armory & after a bit put 6 into the fish's head. finally it expired & they got it aboard. we ate fluke for days, breakfast, lunch & dinner.
