Well,
I bought a small reg. sebbie about 6-8 months ago. To be honest, I wasn't all that impressed. So, I sold it.
Flash forward: I haven't been able to get the sebbie out of my mind. Every time I go to the local knife shop, I handle one and think, 'Why did I sell that beauty?!'
I have tried and tried to not want one and have even made arguments as to why they are not worth it.
Well, today I finally broke down and got a large classic with lignum inlay. I had some Christmas money given to me and decided 'what the hell'.
I really am impressed with it. At the point I bought the small reg., I hadn't handled a lot of knives and had handled no customs. Over the last half year I have bought and sold a bunch of knives, including some customs. IN all seriousness, the large sebbie compares and exceeds all I have handled. I do have some customs, esp. from Steve Rice, that rival and exceed the sebbie in some ways, but I really do like the sebbie.
I guess I have returned to the dark side........
