Back with the Friky

Hi Gang! I'm back with EDCing a friction folder. I carry it in a nylon belt pouch as I dunt like a knife at the bottom of my pocket. I'll ask Grichsmile to post a pic. He makes a fantastic friction folder. This one is Orange G10 with a 440C CG blade. This folder is really all I need for basic knife stuff.
Does anyone else favor the friky for EDC?

I use an Opinel. I rarely use the locking collar. I think the friction is enough.

Paul Mason sent me a Svord Peasant recently, and I like it a lot. I've since bought the smaller 'Mini' version, and have been alternating them as coat-pocket knives :thumbup:

I also recommend the Svord. I made new micarta handles for mine and love it!

Mike put such a cool finish on this 440C. It reminds me of a Hartsfield finish. And, this grind is a zero, very sharp. A nice touch is how Mike smoothed out that sharp square at the ricasso, plunge line. I had never see this before, I dunt think.
Our next friky is going to be a fatty Japanese style blade. In Red.
