Hi everyone,
I usually carry linerlock/framelocks (RAT1, Spydiechef, Hoback, Sebenza, Richmade, etc) But when I was in Japan over the winter I acquired a Moki Drop Point backlocking knife in 3v with Stag handles. It's a great little knife, but it has a bit of side to side play I have no idea how to tighten (pin hidden under a brass tang)
In the couple months I had carrying it I discovered a love for this kind of gents knife. Though I don't think I'll give up my other knives for this exclusively, I am looking for a custom maker of this type of knife. My issue with the mass produced versions of this type of knife is the material used tend to not be too great, and there are fit and finish issues (Like with my Moki, even when they cost well over 200 dollars)
Does anyone here have any recommendations for makers of slipjoint and/or backlocking knives?
