Backsprings question

When you buy a slipjoint with ATS34, BG42, or others steel, does somebody knows what material is used for the backsprings and how much are they tempered ? I know that certain knifemaker use the same steel than the blade, is it the same for other maufacturers?

Generally.

Sometimes. If the maker doesn't pass the info, I don't become concerned. I trust the maker (skill and knowledge).

Some do. . . .some don't.
