Not too long ago I posted my 10th knife finished. Woohoo! But I never posted number 6. I made this about a year ago but it kept getting scratched so it stayed on the bench until I could clean it up for the last time. It's going to a friend of mine who lives in upstate NY. He'll be picking it up tomorrow. Some of you with a sharper eye (and now all of you because I just told you) will notice a beginner mistake of sanding through the serial number. Oh well, I'm not remaking the knife just because of that. Specs are below. Comments and critiques welcomed.

8" blade is 80CrV2
OAL is 13.75"
Curly Maple handle
Guard is 1018 with VF spacer
Sanded to 2500x but backed the bevels back down to 800x

Well I would not worry about the small mistake as for a #6 knife that one is very nicely done with a nicely executed sheath also.

I could make 100 and not have one turn out that nice. Great details on the sheath as well.

That is a great knife and sheath. Even the photography I really dig.

The fact that it's your 6th makes it amazing. I'd take it in a snap. Great job and it's a better job when you come away learning something too.
