Backup to Sifu?

Loaded up with my Sifu for front left pocket carry the other day and out of habit slipped a CQC7-b in right rear pocket as backup.

That made me stop and wonder, why would you need a backup to a Sifu? And, if so, what would your choices be (skipping the obvious, "another Sifu" of course!)

It's a fine line between "a hobby" and "mental illness".

Blade, I would go for some hawkbill knife like a Spyderco G-10 Harpy, Matriarch, or Civilian as a back up piece.

pryguy, I like the .45 ACP, so it would have to be an 1911 style cannon.

I have always heard that the best gun to carry is the one you have in your pocket. I like the .45 and have one. Also have a .40, a smaller 9mm, and, for those times I can't carry a KelTec P-32.

Also have the blades mentioned and second your recomendation.

Dwight,

LOL - ANY firearm is better than NO firearm.

How do you like the Keltec P-32? I have a P-11 in 9mm that I did some mods to that make it run smoother.

Keltec's aren't pretty, OR very high tech, BUT they are accurate and very affordable!

My G-10 Harpy is out on repair, but the Matriarch is no slouch.
