Here's something for you backwoods guys that like the old school look and forge markings... everyone else LOOK AWAY!
This knife started in my shop as a blank I forged to demostrate to Ray Laconico how a knife was forged. I made a few blanks and Ray ground them out and we sold them as co-lab knives. Ray got distracted building folders so this blank sat in his shop for months, and then came back to mine for a while. I finally finished it today...
Knife started as .250 1095 stock and was forged. Then I flat ground it some to help clean up the blade enough to heat treat. I then finished the knife by convex grinding to zero. It's sharp.
Osage orange finished out the handles and mustard and cold blueing was used for the finish. Knife is 14 3/4 inches long with 9 inches from plunge line to tip.....
$225.00 in the USA.... shipping is 12.00 and a sheath can be made for this knife for 30.00
If you live in Canada, I don't mind trying to ship to you but shipping is more than double on the last knife I shipped.
