HEY Guys,
I just finnished up a proto of a new Snub-Nose model,Id spoken with Andy and we decided to do a collab on this,It is a nice medium duty worker can be used for just about anything,I ground this from Aldo's 3/16" 1095 ,It measures 8 5/16" oal w/a 3 5/8" blade, Being stock removed they all will range in size diffrent, Everything has been done in house at my shop from start to finnish, like most this will have a forced patina finnish with a belt finnish grind,I love the looks of knives with that finnish,So here it is! I will add more photos when its ready to ship to Andy, So he can work his magic on the handles.

I don't understand how this is a collaboration. How is Andy involved?

I think this might answer your question.

Bill did the blade. I'm doing the handle. Then back to Bill for a sheath.

Bill drew up a knife, and made a blade. This is what we do. Another knifemaker told him it looked like my Snubnose. Being a class act, Bill contacted me to see what I thought. I told him I thought the blade was nice, and that I wasn't the first person to use that shape. No worries, and thanks for the message.

I've seen knives shaped similar to mine a lot. I can see this wasn't a copy. So I told Bill, why not put it in my forum, so everyone knows its no big deal. Additionally, lets do a collab piece and have some fun in the thread.

I've got a piece of stabalized dyed burl thats going to get bolstered to it. I've been saving this piece for just such a knife.

Andy, kudos to you for being in on this collaboration with BA. As an owner of some of his work, & having seen all the great comments about your work as well, I personally can not wait to see how this turns out.
Congrats to yourself & BA for getting together to make this project . . .
Be safe.

This looks awesome. I look forward to the finished product. Will there be a run of them?

Yeah, I have worked with Bill a few times and he is a stand up guy and a great knife maker. In fact, if there's a list for this particular collaboration knife, put my name first on the list. Two of my favorite makers, it doesn't get any better than this!

Oopsey - I didn't read carefully.

Sounds cool - Hey ChainRing - have you ordered yours yet - i know what a Snubnose junky you are! ;)

Bill & Andy, a great little knife from two of the best! O can see this becoming an edc classic. If there is a list please put me down for one. If I am going to edc it I'd probably like Micarta or G10 scales but then again I know I'd love it with a beautiful set of burl scales too.!

Proto is finnished, i have been grinding blades, there will be a run of 10 of these from me and andy as soon as i can get all the blades finnished

WOW! What a SWEET collab you two! I vote for a run of these beauties, maybe a limited SE run?? if there is a list I wanna be on it!
