Piece of forum history here -- when I won it, (thanks again, guys!) I said I wouldn't ever sell it.
I'm not selling it, but I have donated it to what I consider a good cause.
JK is raising $$ to help cover medical expenses for his granddaughter and I'm pretty sure a sale/auction thread will be going up in his subforum tomorrow with this knife in it.
1095 and Red Mallee Burl -- not the same pocket sheath

VIK, I always knew there was something special about you ever since you called my wife a "gorilla" . . . ;)
Really first class gesture on your part buddy, just reinforces my thoughts that there is hope for humanity . . . .
And good thoughts & prayers for JK's granddaughter as well. Let Sally T or I know if there is anything we can do as well . . .
Be safe.

VIK, went over to see if I could help out on John's forum with some bids from Ohio. Looks like a lot of excellent stuff was donated to a great and worthy cause.
Kudos to you again for your unselfish act and your help to John . . .
Be safe.

thanks for checking in -- there will be more stuff added over the next few days,

Congrats and a huge thank you to J1M -- Sally T will love finding that baby in her stocking Christmas morning!
nice score!

VIK, you have no idea . . . . :)
This knife will be perfect for her to go along with the cancer knife Chris made for her back this Spring. She had been taking that knife camping, then back to the kitchen, camping, then back to the kitchen, etc. etc. Now she can leave one in the kitchen and one in the camping stuff and not have to worry about forgetting to get either when she needs them . . . .
As I said before, that was a great gesture on your part to put this in JK's auction, and for a great cause as well. I'm just glad I snagged it and it will at stay in the KFU forum where it belongs. And now Sally T and I have two things to remind us of you when we see them . . . . . The collaboration knife . . . . and gorilla's . . . :D :D
Thanks buddy for all you have done for us . . . .
Be safe.
