I've noticed something lately. I'm always on the lookout for older issues of Backwoodsman and Knifeworld. I've found a few issues of Knifeworld, but never Backwoodsman. I've seen various gun and knife magazines at gun and knife shows, but only a few table holders that had old issues of Knifeworld. NO BACKWOODSMAN THOUGH! Do people just throw them away, not think they'll get anything for them at the show, or just keep them?

I think people keep them. I discovered Backwoodsman a couple of years ago, and every issue has an article or two that could have been taken right from my childhood days in North Carolina. Some of it's just plain quirky & fun, but some info in there will be useful sooner or later.

Knifeworld is the only knife mag I get now, my favorite writing by far. All the others are too 'commercial'; IMO, they're so wrapped up around ad revenue, they don't want to offend manufacturers being reviewed - to the point of lacking common sense at times.
