Backyard and garage recreation...

Garage and backyard recreation?
No garage. ☹️ However, I have a target and dart stop set up for my big bore blowgun in my room*. Backyard is where I archery. 😇

(*blowgun "shooting range" is with the facility owners approval.👍)

You just can't have the risk of pivots that fail and locks, can't risk a knife already broken in the middle, when dinner is on the line, er, cutting board.
 
I am carrying a Heretic Manticore Bowie, and I did go in my backyard once today for recreation.

nice. I have a bb gun range setup in my backyard for the boy...using cigar tins so he can hear when he hits the targets.........

sometimes I sit on my rocker and shoot targets when I'm smoking cigars and bored......

Very cool...When I first got my kids into bb guns (some years back now) I soon realized that big bangs weren't at all necessary for me to enjoy shooting, and that what I love about shooting can just as easily be found in the back yard with an old Daisy lever action. It makes sense really, as I can't count how many hours of my childhood were spent outside plinking with one. Whenever I'm feeling a bit stressed I head out on the back porch and pop the center out of a few dandelions to unwind and experience some momentary Zen.
