I can't seem to get good closeups from my Nikon Coolpix 4300. Looks like I'mona needa new Canon Rebel.

Oh yeah, it that anodizing or polymer for the red coloring?

I used a Sony HC90 video camera.

The XD was colored with KG Gun Kote by Rich Dettelhouser at Canyon Creek. The entire slide was finished in red, then the flats were sanded and refinished with clear Gun Kote. If you have an XD or 1911, I highly recommend Rich's services, especially his trigger work.

HDS EDC Ultimate 60. Runs 20 minutes at 60 lumens, 10 hours at 10 lumens on a single CR123A. Spendy, but very nice.

See the HDS website for all the details. I see they just started shipping an 85-lumen version.

I like the extended run time of 10 hour at 10 lumens. Sounds like something I can keep in my bug out bag for a long time and not worry about.

I actually have you on my favorites. I plan to get a holster from you in the near future. You probably don't remember my emails, but I asked about a holster for my Springfield 1911 with full picatinny rail and to be large enough to accommodate the gun with and w/o the XM 200 light underneath.
