Bad CS experience

Bought a Boker Grasshopper from an "authorized dealer". When it got to my home, I opened the packaging and noticed the kydex sheath didn't look right. Looking at further, I notice that its molded for a "Wharn" style blade.
I contact Boker CS to try to remedy the problem. I get a return email stating that I can buy a replacement for $9.95 plus $7 shipping. I responded that I wasn't going to pay an additional $17 to get an item that should be included.

This was my last Boker purchase, never again.
 
You should have contacted the authorized dealer, it is not a warranty issue. Boker CS is very good, in my experience.

Bought from Marks Outdoors. I know it's not a warranty issue, rather, it's a sloppy QC issue during packaging.

My issue is that they'd rather lose a customer than send the correct sheath.

The authorized dealer should be the one to get you a new sheath or replace the item. This is a dealer stock problem, the dealer then will take it up with Boker. The dealer owns what they sell, therefore it is up to them to make it right with the customer.
