I bought new Superedge ,seemed of good quality,as cold steel always has been, cut few boxes without staples, and noticed big chip at the tip and edge....probably bad ht from grinding or whatever.Sent it back...and am planing to get other one.Its my first cold steel knife that this happened to,after light or no use at all!Any similar experiences?

aus8, right? the tip is weird....serrations breaking or rolling I've seen many times on different brands and steels even used on something like a plastic coke bottle......

It says its aus8 made in china...whatever it is ,this shouldnt be happening!Heard of many new Chinese cold steel knives breaking because of bad heat treat of sk5....this used to be excellent company years ago.
