That is a very cool looking knife. What are the specs on the Bad Apple?

specs taken from http://www.badmojo.tv/
- Blade Length: 3.5"
- Upper false Edge Length: 2.25"
- Overall Length: 8.0"
- Overall Thickness: 3/16" (0.1875")
- Handle Insert: CG Black Micarta
- Two talon holes
- B.A.T. Equipped

Chip, I think that was the very 1st one sold.
I'm pretty sure that once apon a time that BA belonged to DN.
And he picked it up from Marc at the NY.NY, show year before last.
With the sheath it has, it would make a great little EDC.;)

1WHOBUYS is correct about that knife's history. The NY Show opened back in 2001 and I watched as Dark Nemesis knocked down several people on his way to the Busse table. I noticed one fellow who DN stepped on and one person who DN tripped so that he could get to the table first.

In the wake of several ticked off and injured people, DN was successful in his effort and managed to get his pick of the knives we had on the table. That Bad Apple, an integral fixed blade named after the Big Apple, was DNs "pick of the litter".....

Thanks for the history guys!!:)

Ed, hope you don't mind me putting a plug in for your site.
I love that place!!

Bravado,
Hopefully, very soon!!:D

Marc...now let's be fair about this tale. I didn't trip that guy, he simple lost his balance as I passed him running toward the table. I had absolutely nothing to do with it :D

Ah the days. My old Bad Apple. What a sweet sweet knife. It served me well, if only the witnesses could talk...hehehe na that wold be a bad thing ;)

Don't let her fool you, she's got a bit of an attitude :)

Yes it most certainly was.....just something oh so sexy about that B.A.T. tip. Still my favorite tip configuration Jerry has ever released.

DN, you have quite the eye for knives and women....and I can tell you like the ones with "attitude" !;)

here is a different version of a bad apple. i picked it up at blade 02. it has a harpoon tip, capabile of piercing 1/4" infi. i use it for installing bellybutton rings in pretty grils.

chip i always use a flash when taking shots of my knives. i shoot at a 1024 res from 3 feet away, then crop to a size of 800x600. seems to give clearer pics for me.
