....is this normal?

I just purchased this a few days ago and it's been sticking since opened. From reading on here it seems that sometimes this is normal and will work itself out so I just kept working the action. I finally took it apart and cleaned everything and it doesn't look right. It seems the lock face has some inclusions on it from an unevenly polished blade.

Is this normal? (For some reason it won't let me post photos so all I have are links)

Was this bought from a dealer as new? Or LNIB from the secondary market? If bought from a dealer, return it and exchange it for another one if able.

I've had a couple dozen CRKs new and old and never had any lock stick issues. Those milling marking due see a little sloppy to me but I'm no expert in that regard so maybe others will chime in.

Not normal, you'll need to send it to CRK or return it from where it was bought from if they'll take it back, because it's been disassembled. A dealer is funny about stuff like that.

Definitely not right. My brand new small sebbie just came in a few weeks ago. I always disassemble and clean/lube/rotate stop pin immediately upon receiving, never had any lock stick.

Sometimes you just get a bad one. Had 3 large 21's with horrible lock stick. My latest one is absolutely perfect in every way, got the dealer to pick it out for me and send pictures etc. Very happy because i was close to giving up on getting a perfect one. Send it back if you can or send to crk.
