Weird, just got mine from the exchange today as well! Mine has already been broken in so I can tell you it is buttery smooth with literally zero stick. Even after getting a ton of oil on the lock face, it still doesn't stick. I'm really enjoying this knife, the fit and finish is really excellent and the amount of actual hand finishing on it goes beyond most midtechs. When you don't take into account the steel, the price actually is quite low considering the amount of hand finishing.
The coolest thing I've seen thus far is that the Ti locking liner, which is quite substantial, doesn't have a milled out portion. How they managed to make the lock easy to disengage while retaining all of that metal is beyond me.
Don't get me wrong, mine isn't sticky - it just has that gritty disengage of a Ti liner against steel (when it's first breaking in). It probably doesn't help that my thumb is sore from opening/closing mine like 500 times today just playing with it since I got it.
Out of curiosity, is the cut-out on the non-locking liner's scale on yours flush with the liner or is the scale a little proud of the liner (just in that cutout area on the scale/liner)?
