Bad news from another Buck buddy

I talked to Tom Smith (aka: skyhorse) yesterday and he is another forum member that needs everyone's support. Just over a month ago, Tom and his son came to California from New Mexico to visit Ton's father in the bay area. He returned home after a nice visit only to have to go back recently because of his daughter getting her foot severely injured.

That would be bad enough, but the morning he arrived back in California, his father was admitted to the hospital and has cancer through out his body. He is now back at home under hospice care and Tom will have to stay with him as his caregiver for as long as it takes.

At this point, Tom doesn't have internet access there, but is looking to get a laptop so that he can get back on the forum.

My heart and best wishes go out to Tom's Dad and the whole family.

Know that there are prayers being offered right now for, your father, daugther and for you and your whole family. God Bless and be strong through Him and for them.

I called Tom today at his Dad's where I talked to him before and a lady told me he had gone to his Daughter's in Oakland. I was afraid to ask about his Dad, so I called his cell, but it went to voice mail immediatly. Worries me some, but maybe he's just taking a break.
 
Tom, I will add your dad to my prayer list, and all your family to have the understanding and strength to deal with this situation.

I talked to skyhorse (Tom) this morning and his Dad is improving but is still under 24/7 care. Tom will have to be there to take care of him for the foreseeable future. He just bought a new laptop yesterday and will be trying to get internet access at his Dad's home as soon as he can. Hopefully he will have it up and running soon so he can come back to the forum.
 
tom had said of that his dad was not well ..
i did not know he got worse and that his daughter got hurt..
tom hang in there .. you got your brothers pulling for you..
