My wife and I were 11 weeks pregnant. We were pretty excited that we were having our second child. However, today an unexpected twist of fate took place. There was no heart beat on the sonogram. There was a very weak one on Monday, and none today. The pregnancy was lost. Apparently there was some type of abnormality at conception, and her body rejected it. Although we mourn the passing of what would have been our second baby, we are at least assured in the knowledge that my wife's body did what it had to to protect her.

My heart goes out to you and your wife. Hang in there. So glad your wife is OK.

ElCuchillo, I know no words will make what you are going through any better, but my sympathy go's out to you and your wife. Take care and stay strong..........

I am sorry to hear of your loss, ElCuchillo. My thoughts are with you and your wife tonight.

Sorry for your loss but happy to hear that your wife is well. Time will heal all.

I'm moving this thread to Community which is more appropriate but will leave a redirect for a couple of days so members of the forum will be able to follow the discussion.

That's a tough one. A couple of my wife's pregnancies had complications, but we were extremely fortunate and never lost one of the babies. I'm really glad that your wife is okay and I hope that both of you do well in coping with your loss.

I am sorry, this happened to me and my ex about ten years ago. Hang in there and go for it again, maybe not right away, but don't wait years..GOd BLess. Gene
