Bad sharpening job. Can this be fixed?

I bought this one a while back on eBay and I’ll be the first to admit that I know next to nothing about sharpening knives. However, as you can see, the previous owner sharpened it, somewhat unevenly as well as put a visible mark near the tip.

Is this something that can be remedied if I send it in or am I stuck with it as is? I know it shouldn’t bother me, but it kind of does.

I'd send it in! It won't be the first one they've seen.
When I was 18, I fried the tip on a buck 112 trying to cross the solenoid on my old ford wagon.. I sent buck the sharpening charge and the knife and when I got it back you could not tell anything had happened!
The blade was slightly shorter , that's all.
Take care and post pic when u get it back

Right on, man. Will do. Thanks!

Dang bro that thing looks like it was sharpened on a rickety belt sander and stropped on a cinder block.
CRK's damn good, I bet they can "buff it out"
Definitely send it in!

Send it in. If anyone can make it look as close to new as possible, it’s CRK. Their Spa Service is just amazing. I sent one in that had a nick in the blade. I actually thought I got a different knife back. They are just amazing.

A bit of a late reply, but I got the CF Sebenza back about a month after sending it in. They weren't able to get it back to 100% new condition, not that I was expecting they would, but they got it into good enough shape that I could sell it with a clear conscience. I hated to see it go but just couldn't justify keeping it in addition to my small 31.

And a stubbier tanto looks soooo much better. I have a tanto sebbie but had to have a tanto Inkosi because the Inkosi grind was stubbier and really made the blade look taller and less pointy. It will look awesome when they fix it.

I agree that the Inkosi tanto looks better than the 21 tanto
