Bad spyderco grind?

I just wanted to show the grind on my spyderco manix 2. This is an American made spydie but I think the grind towards the top is pretty bad for a $100+ knife. The grind lines on the sides of the blade are correct but the "hollow ground" on one side isn't hollow which makes the top look bent. Please Excuse the background I'm a college studentand out helped the camera focus. Am I just being picky as it doesn't affect performance? Does the community have any experience with this from spyderco?

Moved to our Spyderco forum.

The best way to ask a moderator is to use Report Post., the small triangle in the lower left corner of the post. Moderators do not read every post every day.

If your not happy send it back or turn it into a really hard user that you don't care about babying. Spyderco will make it right if you send it back.

I keep telling myself to just use it like a tool but it just looks so good! (Aside from the tip)

It does look a bit off. It doesn't look like it will interfere with use. A couple of sharpenings later and you won't see anything left to worry about.

Looks like the knife was dropped on its tip, you can grind it out or send it back to Sal & Co. If you send it back home you may have to pay to get it fixed as this doesn't look like manufacturer defect to me.
