best, quickest way to post pics. opena photobucket account, upload to it, click and copy the IMG link, paste in your post. DONE

Click "Image" , click URL , paste pic URL , un-check Retrieve remote file and reference locally , click OK.

Give us an example here that doesn't work.

Often you may copy a link from an outside website and THEIR server will disallow linking.

ah ha, un checking that boxed worked!!! Thanks a bunch, now i hope the pics will help sell my knives, thanks guys.

I noticed this too, the 'bad url' message when pasting links to externally-hosted pics. Fixed as mentioned, by unchecking the 'Retrieve remote file and reference locally' box. Any chance of making this box unchecked by default?

Why do they keep changing these things. It takes me all evening to figure it out every time something is changed on posting photos. Maybe I am just dense!

We went through a major software change a few months ago. As these changes go, there were problems. Spark had to tweak a lot of functions to get them to look like what we liked. Other problems have come up with the software itself and upgrades have been developed and implemented. For example, the posting function has gotten more sophisticated. Some of the moderator functions are clearer than they had been.

In an ever-changing world, if you aren't moving forward, you're falling behind. :)
