Just got the BW in last night. I didn't like my GW (near as much as my Leaner because of the smaller sized handles), so was already entertaining trade offers for the BW, but after holding/seeing it -- I'm really liking it. It'll be the perfect "gent's" fixed blade, very discreet in a suit coat pocket:

Now off to LeatherMaster for a discreet carry sheath... ;)

Thanks Boss and the Gang

Xaman, does your Bad Warden have a satin finish? My two have a double cut finish.

Yeah, it's satin. Double Cut is very sweet too

And 2 is even sweeter

Tim,

I'm pretty sure the versions with micarta inserts were DCBB and the natural materials got satin.

xaman,

Maybe leatherhog can make a forearm sheath?

oooooh! thats nice! Bring that sucker with you on Sunday? Promise I wont drool on it too much. :o

Are those mother of pearl grips on that Colt? Darooooool!! :)

Here are mine, from top to bottom, Bad Apple, Bad Warden black micarta, Bad Warden tan micarta, Tom Mayo, Game Wardens.

Xaman,

That's a very nice looking Colt. Original finish?

Randucci,

The lanyard looks great on the Warden.

It is one of Eric Issacson daughter's and a Emerson Skull

Nice knives Randucci -- as always!

Tango - yeah, everything's original. It was my wife's grandfather's original WWI officer's issue gun, 32 auto, 1903 model. It's a privilege to own it! Sweet little shooter too

Leatherman, I was really glad to see it come in the mail -- primarily because I knew I could get it to you Sunday  And they are MOP handle slabs.

Thanks for the compliments everyone :D

Tim,

What is the stock thickness on the BA?

It is .245 at the butt and at the front talon hole, but .220 in the middle, so it tapers in, then back out.

Wow - makes it even sweeter with the family history/heritage behind it - eh?
My compliments - looks very well cared for and the fact you shoot it is probably just the way he (grandpa) would want it.
