Fellas,
Would anyone who owns a BaderIII contact wheel with the stock work rest be kind enough to supply me with a nice up close picture of the setup? I'm going to make/fabricate my own, and also possibly buy one of the Bader work rests too. I need a good up close picture of the work rest, possibly from a different view or two, unless one shot will get it.
If anyone could help, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Also, if anyone has made their own, I would also love to see it too.
Thanks for any help..

I'll go do that right now. Email on its way this evening.

But let me just suggest that Rob Frink of Beaumont Metal Works makes the work rest to end all work rests and I'm fairly certain it'd be adaptable to the BIII since everything else for the KMG is interchangeable... But maybe I've just stuck my foot in my mouth again. Yummy!

Thanks Dave,
My email is pc79@bellsouth.net

I already have the Beaumont metalworks platen that is designed for the BaderIII. I am redesigning THAT work rest, to bring it down lower on the platen. Other than that, this thing rocks! I just think it should be down a little lower on the platen, as it sits up near the idler wheel in it's "stock" location.
Anyhow, that is all about the platen, NOT the contact wheel that I started this thread for.

I look forward to the contact wheel work rest pic....
Thanks buddy!

if one of you could please send my way , I , just like Paul have been searching hi and low for a pict of the contact wheel rest. I emailed Rob about getting one made or if the flat platen rest he uses would fit , he informed me it would not fit , so I will make my own. Bader quoted me $90 to increase the rest size from the 2 x 3 to 5 x 5... didnt think the extra $45 was worth it so I will have a go at it myself.
