Hello, I picked these 2 Busse's recently and am looking for help in dating the pair. Best I can tell from pictures and info I have found on the web, the two knives are early versions of Badger Attack, Mean Street & Steel Heart 1 or 2. Any info will be appreciated on the pair. The knives are not for sale, so if someone wants to help me in deciding their value,, that would be great! Thanks for your time! Dennis

Here is the Badger Attack, Mean Street. I thought I could attach 4 pics but could only get 1 to post. So, here is another pic. Thanks! PS. I just figured out how to post more than 1 pic, so here are the other 3 pics of the pair.

Nice knives.
Still waiting on a pic of the Mean Street.
The larger knife is a Steel Heart 2 also known as a BBSHSH (Birds Beak Straight Handle Steel Heart) and "Ducci" is the resident expert on those.
Your's is most likely A2 as there are verrrry few confirmed INFI models with a Birds Beak pommel.
The shorter knife is a Badger Attack also known as a SHBA (Straight Handle Badger Attack).
Yours is most likely A2 like most of the SHBA's with smooth bolt fasteners.
Any other questions just ask.

I am a late comer in the game, I don't have any oldies. I am also not the one to ask about dating them.
Looks like a badger attack and a Steel heart, but what do I know. Don't worry, the older/wealthier hogs will pipe up, and also bug you to give them up.

I sure love them though.

I just wanna know where you picked them up. And sorry I cant help you with aging them, they are awesome. Especially the mean street..

Nice score!

Did these come off the Exchange, or did you stumble across them somewhere else?

Even an old blind hog will find an acorn every once in a while. Must has just been plumb lucky as these are the first 2 Busse knives that I have ever owned. I must say that I am most impressed with the Busse knives! Might just be the start of another brand addiction here?

Run away as fast as you can. :D
If you don't you'll end up like this:

It is never a good idea to date your Busse's. It just makes them too hard to sell later. :grumpy::p

Very nice, Ikedoc. Excellent display pieces, and I like the glass case. Nice touch. Gives me ideas... :D

Are there any words or maybe a Logo on any of these? on the blade, side? Spine?
Handle spine?
