Badger Attack Tac Specs

Bad Mojo lists previous versions of the Badger had a 4½" - 5" blade and were 9¾" - 10" OAL, and were made from 3/16" - 1/4" INFI.

Just like the FBM, we may not know until they go up for orders on the website...

Looking forward to the same stats though! :D

I would like to see 2 different handle configurations.
One with the TAC handle and one with the SF handle from the ST56.

Just my .02

I hate the tac handles. They are the worst aspect of my Satin Jack tac's. If the handle is the same length as the SJtac's (which it probably is) this will be a near miss knife. Jerry will still sell every one he can make but the handle is the weak point. Theres my two cents.

I second that

I think the TAC handle is very nice and is about the quickest in the hand as well as ambidextrous. I find it very useable, so I am glad to see this model come out. It would be interesting to see the Ripper/ST Ripper style handle on it though.

But, as Heavy started off with, could we get some specs?

I totally agree...It'll end up being a mini-SJTac.

I don't like the Tac handle either, the BA3 is looking better every day.

At least this frees up my budget for Swamp Rat and Scrap Yard products.

That's what I'm counting on. The SJ-TAC is more of a "jack of all trades" 6" blade. The one you pick up when you're carrying just one.

But if you're already carrying an FBM, chopping duties are covered and you want some thing a little smaller for camp duty. I think the BATAC will fit the bill nicely.

The tac handles are pretty ugly, but they're functional. The weak point on the SJTAC wasn't really the handles, but the thickness of the handles. The blade was thin and so were the scales, this made the knife WAY too slim for me to handle comfortably. The HOGSJTAC is a great knife! It has a completely different feel, .220 thick with thicker scales took care of the problem with the original SJTAC.

From a "looks" point of view I'm no fan of the TAC design either. But I'll order one and when it comes I'll make up my mind. I expect that, as with all things Busse, it will be cool:cool: and I'll end up ordering several more.

Too close to the SJTAC for me as well....I do think the LE will be a cool one....particularly if with black paper slabs.

I'm hoping for the LE as well....At least the CG model doesn't look like it will have those corrugated bevels--hurray for that!

Same here!
I've never held a TAC handle. But I am excited to hold/use one. This is the size knife I am looking for, too. I can't wait!

TAC handle feels a bit thin, but it's got more depth to it and doesn't feel bad as a one size tries to fit all. Mags would be a sweet option on this, add an LE or HOG feature to the mags and this could get interesting indeed!

Will we get a choice on the slabs??? Mag slabs??? :D That WOULD be cool...

bjjzak beat me to it...But... What HE said!

I disagree with you there, bubba....
I think it needs a smaller handle, not a larger one!
IMO, a Meaner street handle would be perfect.

+1 here for mag handles.

Imagine a satin or double cut BATAC with black G10 mags.
