Last night I sent an e-mail to Busse Combat asking them if they still make the Badger Attack. They told me it was disscontinued in Febuary. Why is this? Is their still a way for me to buy a new one, or will I have to find one used? Thank you.

Turbo man
Welcome to the Busse Forum, glad you stopped by.

From time to time Busse Combat discontinues models, even popular ones such as the Badger. It still might be possible to find some new ones out there. Check with some of the Busse Dealers, Andre DuMouchel(papathud on the forums) may be able to help you. Otherwise check with www.bladeart.com and www.2thehilt.com they carry some of the discontinued models. Best to email them as they don't list all their in stock models on their website.

Good luck, let us know how the search progresses.

BTW, keep an eye on the For Sale forums and Ebay also.

Turbo Man, welcome to the most addictive place on earth :) The original Badger Attacks do pop up for sale occasionally here on BFC and also on ebay & knifeforums.com

Great knife if you can get your hands on one, best of luck! :)

Welcome Turbo!

do a search for 'Busse badger' on Ebay.....I think there is one currently there for auction.

Models and come and models go, but people do have their favorites. Luckily, there are those that may use their Busses hard but have keepers and users. There are n.i.b. Badgers out there. You'll hook-up.

Now, if you were talking about the "Nimrod Special Edition Satin Jack" you would have one heck of a quest on your hands. ;)

Welcome Turboman. Have you seen the Flying Badger Jerry posted? If I wasn't on my way to the poorhouse I'd be there in a heartbeat. Ed C :)

Turboman, please humor the individual named "Nimrod".

Some time ago, he started suffering from delusions that there is such an animal as the "Nimrod Special Edition Satin Jack".

Since then, he just hasn't been the same.

Actually, it started out as a joke. We kept telling him that we'd received a new model Busse knife. He took the bait, hook, line, and sinker.

If he mentions it again, just humor him. Make kind comments like "oooh, I'l bet that's a tough blade" of "aahhh, that must be a sweet one".

He is starting to respond to therapy, so there's hope yet....

:D :D

Mike

(oh yeah, the Badger is a tough-a$$ed piece. The "-E" version is great, and the straight-handled model is VERY sweet. Be patient, one will show up without a doubt...)

Thanks for the welcome guys, but I am not new to this site. I was here for about half a year under the name Toolin. I speak to alot of you on the Busse site, and know all about Nimrod's Satin Jack problems..... Thanks for the info on the Badger Attack guys, I will look at E-bay more often. Buh bye.

Turboman,
Welcome to the Busse forum. Good luck in your search for
the Badger Attack. They're out there!!:)
