Received my N-BATAC today, joining the extended Badger family. Much to my amazement, these have become my current favorite. I was really prepared to be unimpressed. I can't wait until we see the Tank Busters.

Crappy pic shot after dark today:

Great badger collection Rick!

How thick are the slabs on the nuke badger?

Those are awesoem bro. I have put my BATAC SE up for trade a few times, only because I wanted to try some other INFI out, but every time I end up using it and have to close the thread/ Badgers rock. :D

The nuke badger should be .270" .. I'm anxiously waiting for mine.... i love badgers!!!!!!

Great Badgers.

Bring on the Busse Beavers!!!

How thick are the slabs on the nuke badger?

They are about 50% thicker than the magnums on the SE:

If you count the layers visible in the handles, you can see that N-BATAC has swells that are significantly larger.

I think the BATAC is seriously underrated. I love mine! Those customs are sweet, especially the one with mosaic pins.

Rick,

Could you please tell me about the Badger second from the top in your first pic? The batac is on my short list, after the snfo & sjtac, I very much like the looks of that second knife and would like to know what options to look for. Thanks!

That is the Special Edition (BATAC-SE) version. It is essentially a Limited Edition (0.270") blade with DCBB finish and magnum G10 handles. If you like it, you should grab one of the LEs from Skunk. They have the tigerhide micarta instead of G10, but that is a good thing. I just looked and there are some in stock.

I can't recommend this model highly enough.
