This one is now on its way to its owner. I for one never thought of putting bolsters on this design. My customer came up with the idea and I am happy that he did. I really like the overall look of this knife with bolsters.
I ground the face of the bolsters a little differently. I wanted the bolsters to be more forward but not get in the way of the bottom finger guard. The bolsters angle forward and then are cut back when they reach the top. Nothing earth shateringly different but different for my knives.
Specs:
Steel - S30V
Blade Length - 4 1/2"
Overall Length - 9 1/2"
Bolsters - 416SS dovetailed
Handle - Coyote Brown G10
Pins - 416SS
Sheath - Leather
Normally this knife has a kydex sheath but with bolsters comes leather so....
Thanks for looking.
