I was having a look at that one, and I think it is a king-sized hanshee.
IF the handle were longer and slimmer and curved, with a nice flared ring, it would be perfect.
Whoever got it, please keep me in mind if you decide to sell it. I think I would like to have that one.
Im a fiend for hanshees!

I agree Danny, which is why I'm glad I was able to get it! With the long blade it would have really benefited from a longer chainpuri style handle, but should be manageable I hope. The standard Hanshee is another model I was unable to snag; I missed every one of them offered, but this is a larger one that I was glad I got.

I'll post some pics when it comes if you like.

Regards,

Norm

ADDED: Geez! Talk about doing a brain fart! I have a Hanshee; what is the other similar long-curving model? There were several of them offered. Let me check...

Found it; I am thinking of the Bura Hybrid Hanshee. About 17" and 22 oz. on average. The standard Hanshee's average 15.5" and about 20 oz., and are far less curving. Back in 2002 you guys were calling them "Hanshee/M-43 Hybrids."
