Long(ish) round handle for good grip and power transfer; short blade for good control.
I promised you another knife mod
Hereitgo
You know the drill by now : Buy a nice Cold Steel Ti Lite . . .
. . . then cut chunks off of it with abandon
take that thick ridge off the center line
thin the thing down to paring knife / bantam weight / Bruce Lee parameters
Then stand back and marvel at all the practical work it can do.

What blade shape will it wind up being ?
Could be anything from a shorter version of the factory spear point to . . .
wait for it . . .
a short Bowie
. . . well anyway. I think I will use it a little as is and get a feel for what this blade wants to be.
The only thing I used it to cut while brand new and in its stock blade shape was a bit of ragged fingernail and then we were off to the work shop to chuck up an abrasive cut off wheel and then a visit to the Norton 3X bench grinder wheel.
Yah its uuuuuuuugly but I was out of shop time and that was enough damage for now (Im sure youll agree).
You know how I need this grip in my EDCs. (please forgive the white tape on my finger) This is what I love about the Ti Lite; that big flat area for my thumb and index finger with out too much height to the handle.

Well I took a bold step and cut off that quillian on top of the knife because it was getting in my way of gripping close to the blade. I kept the one on the underside. That one seems to be there to stay.

I can no longer hook it on my pants to deploy the blade but the tang sticking off the end of the knife (when closed) still allows the option of opening it by swinging the blade open with that.

Here it is edge up; the quillian is again useful for this grip as well.

Nice and strong and light but not cheep feeling.
