I love the elegant curves on this model - Purna really knows his stuff.



Baby girl, says it's heavy, she was shaking trying to hold it...lol After, she said, daddy can I have it when I grow up?...:eek: I don't think I'll have to worry about her dates, I think she'll be able to handle herself all on her own...:D

Looks fast but the numbers say it's heavy. How thick is it?
I like the look of it. Gotta keep an eye out for Purna.

Also the Kukris name. Wasn't that what these masks are called which scare away bad spirits and people? That almost guaranteed to help with the dates!

Cute how she wants to claim it already for later.
My little ones are also dividing up stuff for when they are older, not that they don't have their own blades already.

I told her, she can always go to visit and ask for advice at Uncle B's place, if she decided to go to Oregon State...:). She asks, " does he have knives and guns too?" I said, "just like daddy, we believe in protecting our own family".

3/8" at bolster, tapering to 1/2", tapers to point starting 1" from tip. It's got some weight to it, wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of this thing once it gets moving.
 
That's a beautiful khukri and your daughter more so! It looks as big as she is from the camera angle. Yep, I'd say by the time she starts to date and handling dad's khukris until then, she'll do better than hold her own.
