Are they any good? i really like the look of them and i have the book that was published with his articles. Well any help is appreciated

IMO,the Bagwell's are among the best fighting Bowies.Although some guys think there blades are too thin.

Yes, they are very good. It is not easy to get your hands on one and they aren't cheap, but as far as I am concerned they are worth the effort and the money.

Well the reason why i asked is because there is a place near me that sells the gambler for 120$.

That is an Ontario knife that was designed by Bill Bagwell, not a Bill Bagwell custom. I have never owned or handled that model, so I am unable to make any comments on its quality.

I thought you were talking about a Bagwell Custom also.Searched a little found a GAMBLER at One Stop Knife and it was 176 dollars.Wonder why the price difference?Where did you see them that cheaply priced?

No i was not talking about the custom knife. out of my price range. I found it and another model at the local army and navy store. They have great prices on production knives

The Ontario version will do what it was designed for...just keep that in mind. It is not a field Bowie or camp knife.

A custom Bagwell can easily serve a dual purpose.
