Just wanted to post some pics of a Bowie the Bill just finished for a client

Big 11 inch forged cable blade , steel guard carver handle with pins

‘the sheath is done by his lovely wife Sidra

I’m a big fan of Bagwells HB’s and I have 2 of them

I don’t think a well heeled proper Bowie collection would ve complete with out one :)

But of all the Bowie’s in my decent collection there is a Bowie that Bill named the Alamo Bowie that he made me that is probable the last Bowie I would ever part with and to me exemplify’s what a proper Bowie is

this Bowie is in that style

I did not get to handle the above piece like I said this is for a client of Bill’s but if it feels anything like this one in the hand it’s new owner will be pleased :)

Those are beautiful bowies.

Interesting how the stick tang is curved downward and threaded through the handle. I can't think of how that would be done.

I don't think it's threaded. Looks like it is bent then attached through the handle material on the side.

I don’t think I could part with your Alamo Bowie either, it’s exquisite, it belongs among your family heirlooms for generations to come. Thanks for sharing such a rare and gorgeous example with us.
