Made it to the show :) As usual it was a great experience and a lot of fun. Met with Strider guys again, Scott Cook himself, Phill Wilson and his wife. Theoretically I had only 1 hour to spend there, but once I was there, forgot the rest of the world and hang around for almost 4 hours...
Here's some pix, I took over 200 of them, but unfortunately very few came out well, too difficult to make something truely good at the show with my equpment and skills.

I guess Scott had his entire assortment of knives, obviously all the variations wouldn't fit on the table but whatever I saw was very exciting.
Very nice, very elegant knives and quality is above the top notch :D
And here's his website for more - http://www.scottcookknives.com/

Hmm :( And where's the attachment?

Sigh... Now that I have handled it, it's a lot more difficult to wait for mine...

The grinds on that dagger show some real talent.

I can tell from all the pictures that you really like thee Lochsa. Me too. One of the nicest folders out there, as far as I am concerned.

As banal as it sounds I have to say that pictures don't do justice to Locsha :) Very nice design.

Humm, it is interesting that Scott had a AAA Ironwood Owyhee Hunter in S90V there, available for sale. I have that identical knife on order with Scott, was supposed to be finished in mid/late August! :(

Well, waiting isn't much fun, I have Locsha on order myself, but knives for the show are different issue. If he wouldn't have any knives for the show to sell he couldn't have come there at all right?
As I understand all the makers have the same schedule, I mean making show knives separately, otherwise I don't think you'd see any maker who has backlog on any show :)
My 0.02$.

I have a Locsha on order as well. I understand the need to have something available for the show. However, it is still a little hard to see a picture of what I have had on order for a while now, available to anyone at the show with no waiting!

I have heard from Scott today and my Owyhee is nearly complete, so my wait is nearly over.

I was standing there when you were taking the pics of Scott's knives but did not introduce myself as you looked really into it, and was not wanting to interrupt you. Sorry did not want to intrude.
I spent quite a bit of time talking with Scott, and was great to talk to, and informative.
I ended up with a prototype Michael Vagnino gents knife. Luana ended up with a Strider MT SS fixed blade, and Barry Dawson tactical fixed blade.
Those are great pics you took, nad very good coverage of some of what was there.

I received my Large Owyhee Hunter from Scott this week and since I mentioned it here before, I thought I would post a picture of it. The flash washed out the blade finish but you can really see the grain and detail of the wood. AAA Ironwood in S90V steel.
