Any of you bastids going to make it?

It's the Bay Area Knife Collectors Association show being held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Palo Alto, CA, August 27 and 28th.

Tom Ferry and I will be riding down to the show with Chuck Bybee and his daughter Jessica (Alpha Knife Supply).

Last year was my first time doing the show, and they really treated us great. It's a first class show PLUS, it's being held in a new hotel this year.

Hope to see some of you there if you can make it.

This will be our fifth year there. Randy Morgan and the BAKCA club put on an excellent show. I highly recommend it.

We're taking Nick so if we run out of fuel, he can push. :D
 
Chuck, How many miles per gallon does Nick get? Last year was also my first time for doing the show. I'm looking forward to it again this year.

I heard the price of Nick is going up, so better get a car with more Nicks-per-gallon (NPG). :p
 
I'll be attending again this year and may actualy get a table next year as i feel my quality is almost there. :)
 
Oh, I wanted to mention, if anybody comes by to say hi, please tell me your screen name and your real name!

I've had guys come up at shows and start talking and say something like, "I'm Ted from the forum."

But they never say, my screen name is, "InsaneNightStalker" and I don't place them. It usually takes about 2 weeks to finally figure out who they were.

:) I won't be able to attend this year, But good friend, deader, collector, Louis Chow will be there. I'm finishing up a few from the "Loveless Connection" for Lou to show there. good Friend Stann Chan will also attend. Hoping Mark shows. Mabe next year. http://home.earthlink.net/~michaellovett/

Randy's been pestering me the last couple years. :)
I dropped one and picked up BAKCA. I have enjoyed the Reno show the last 3 years and that's close enough to the California crowd. Can't wait. I think I'll actually have a few knives ready for it! See you all there.

They treat us right, and it's a good bunch of folks that come in to the show.
