BAKCA show???

I'm wondering who here is going, both makers and collectors?

Randy has asked me to come down and Jeff sent me the table ap.

A show in sunny CA? Sounds great to me!!!

I'm just trying to figure out the arrangements and make sure that I can afford the trip.

Where do you all stay? The Hyatt Ricky's?

Flying into San Jose from Portland is something like $50-70 cheaper than San Francisco... is there a big difference in air-port quality or something? Do they not have running water at San Jose or ??? ;)

I really would like to make this trip, and am looking forward to hearing from those that have experience with it.

This is our first time for this show, but my wife and I will be there. I know Allen Eleshewitz will be there as well.

I was fortunate to land the club knife this year, so I am hard at it getting them ready to deliver at the show...along with a few other peices.

BAKCA is a great show, one of our west coast favorites, and we're sure that you'll have a blast! (it's a very friendly show with lots of good folks...kinda like a mini-OKCA show)

It could be that we're biased though, our friends up there have talked us into setting up this year...our first knife show, but our 4th visit to BAKCA :D

p.s. Fly into San Jose...it's a 10 minute drive to the show venue from San Jose Int'l, an hour from San Francisco. Hyatt Rickey's is 'over' (over rated, over priced, over crowded...lol)

Personally, I'd keep looking, and see if you can't shack up with someone that lives locally....shouldn't be a problem.

Lastly, fly Southwest, shouldn't run ya more that $100 roundtrip...
