Apologies if this is treading on another thread's toes, in which case will mods please move.

Guess there's a few guys who use their knife to assist with the oversize hamburger, hot dog, waffle......cakes, whatever.

Maybe though, in my wife's case here - the Christmas Cake that became the very rock hard New Years Cake :D

Using the big Towering Trapper, I managed to break through the icing, just.........behind which lay the brandy soaked yummy cake.

Up against a normal size Sheffield Lambsfoot...

I was admiring that cake in one of your earlier posts Paul, it looks even better cut :) That is certainly a Towering Trapper! Nice Lambsfoot too my friend ;)

That's a GIANT of a New Year's Cake Paul:cool: Kind of wedding size:D

Here's my offering (not burned thankfully:D) I made a kind of Plum Cobbler with oatmeal to give it a chewy factor back in autumn, there was a fair bit of Kirsch added to this too;) but I think any fruit spirit would be good too. Add whipped cream or custard type sauce, that explains the weight gain:eek: Forum Knife looked quite at home too.

Paul and Will, I just finished eating my supper, and your photos have me in the mood for dessert!;) I think I've already gained some weight just contemplating the pics!

Here's some pumpkin bread my wife baked, pictured with a Case slimline trapper that hangs around the kitchen waiting for goodies like this (thanks, Tom)!!

Excellent thread! We need some more pix though. Next time I manage a home-baked pizza (always the best if I boast myself:D:D) I'll try and get a knife in on the act, prepping maybe but not so much cutting-unless I unsheath a puukko:cool:

:D:D - well Steven65 Steven65 ......it reminds me of a time I was moaning to the ghilly that I never caught any trout one year as I hadn’t been to the river, and he told me it would help if I actually stood on the bank and cast a fly out...! So, if you ever manage to stop by in London when you’re next globe-trotting, we’ll be delighted to have a box of ‘em waiting..!

Stunning, stunning folder from Howard :thumbsup:

Hope you’re keeping well, bud
