A couple of photos of a baldric rig that I made from 550 paracord at the request of a fellow knife enthusiast.

I made this rig adjustable, using rings and a ss gate clip, so that the individual could wear his knife high or low under the arm, depending on his need.

I used almost 50' of cord...utilizing a 4 plait pattern and a French grapevine.

I hope to make one from leather in the near future.

Wow, how did you make it if you dont have any arms? Or is that some one else in the pic?

But really, nice work! :D

It looks like a wierd mannequin.

Best Regards,

I want to know why you have that mannequin in the first place?

It's kinda detailed with nipples and a six pack.

It's a training tool...called "Bob"

I use it for boxing, kicking and such....if you look closely, the chest is stained with blood.

Is that a BOB? Cool...i know what it is but i didn't realise it was that detailed. Not to hijack this thread but is it worth it to have one? I've been thinking of getting a punch bag but most of the one's i've used are a bit light and really need someone behind it so it won't swing too much.

I really like it...has alot of realism.

I use it for targeting areas of the head and neck....

Interesting take on the baldric. It's a lot more elaborate than the one I made from a single strand of 550 cord.

My son laid one of these dummies out in a sporting goods store (they didn't have the base weighted)....the look on his face was priceless. :D

One day my wife went down into the basement (where BOB is kept) and when she turned on the light....SCREAM!!!!!!

Now I have to keep BOB in a room where it won't surprise her  ....too life-like.
