how much is a nib bali-song/benchmade 710 in ats34 worth? Need to sell it but i dont know how much i need to get for it lol. Thanks alot

thats it? damn i thought since it is so old it would be worth a lil more. oh well.

Some people talk about the older ats-34 versions escalating in value, but in reality the $125 to $150 is a value increase. They were only bringing $80-$100, a value commensurate with current production.

The 710 is a great Bm knife but it is still in production with so called updated steel. It started out with ATS34, then 154CM and now D2. You will do well to get $100. for it but then again you never know until you try. Good luck.

I agree with whitedog. IF the knife is mint in box with papers you might get $100. I would be totally shocked and suprised if it get anything more then $125.

The only benchmade 710's ive seen go for alot are the M2 or HSSR knives which i have seen go for $300 in mint condition.

Aren't the M2, and HSSR steel benchmade knives the same steel, with different markings? I have some of each and am curious. My first edition 710 says M2HS or some such ( don't have time to dig it out). Thanks Joe

The difference? Plain edge is marked M2HS, the Combo-edge is marked HSSR. The steel itself is the same. (Just wish I'd bought more of 'em in M2 when they WERE in the $80 range!!)

Cheers,
Joe

Thanks, That one slipped by me. I've often thought about selling my first run, NIB 710 PE M2 but it always seems to talk me out of it every time I bring it out. Maybe someday. I still would have a stryker in M2, as well as a 940. I do love M2 though. Joe

Malaka for those souls who where not raised in a multicultural environ ,means "Jerk off" This is what happens ,when you pursue other things than watching sports on tv. MY guess would be most of you have heard the word ,somewhere down the line, ya just where not paying attention!:)). But then again IM εβραϊκός

that was the first word in greek my dad taught my he got me to say it to my uncle infront of my yiayia that was fun :D:D oh well i had no clue what it ment lol. :D

I'm mad now. When I read "Bali-Song 710" I was hoping they were putting the 710 blade in bali handles. I'm gonna go sulk in the corner.

It's the unfortunate truth that knives are probably the worst "investment" you can make. With very few exceptions there will be little return on any factory knife, so buy what you like and don't sweat the resale value :)
