Ok, I read the article. It had some small mistakes in it, like calling Jeff Imada Jim , and the BM42 is called the T42, but hey, that's ok with me
.
The article gives an overview of the Bali-Song/Pacific Cutlery/Benchmade history, some of the balisong history, and mentions some custom makers. The pictures are nice, with a picture of two nice Perrin bali's, a Ron Miller custom, and a very nice Marc Alfieri bali (he's a french watchmaker/knifemaker), and of course there's an address list of the makers/company's offering balisong.
There's one company that seems to import the Seto knives, but I could be wrong (there's a picture of a small black bladed and handled knife with brass pins and handles, and the skeletonising is left unpainted, and it has a small white dragon on the blade, and there's also the same model with unpainted brass handles and skeletonizing, and it has "440 stainless" on the blade)
There's even a little manipulation "How To" (this is the same mag that had a small article and screenshot of Clay's site a while ago
).
They defend the balisong, and for a "high-class" knifemag I think that's very nice.
The only problem is that they're not illegal in France, so I'd need a similar article in a newspaper here (we don't have any Belgian knifemags, and if there are some, they sure wont reach the public that needs to be reached)
