Balisong carry?

I really like the balisong knives, but I really wish that they came with a very small pocket clip that could be removed for those that didn't care for them. I have tried to carry mine in my pocket and it keeps moving long ways so the it's hard to even walk. I don't like the hoster that they come with either because I like wearing my knife even when I wear shorts here in Texas. Are there any hosters that can be worn inside your pocket that holds the knife to your pocket? Even some type of after market clip would be nice.

I'm new to the balisong knives and any info would be a great help.

Check out some of the sheaths at BalisongXtreme . Clay's got some new models that aren't on the page. You can email him and ask him about them.

I bought one of Clay's horizaontal belt sheaths and have had no problems with it, once I got it adjusted, that is. :D Had to lower it a but, it was biting into my stomach.

The good thing about Clay's horizontal sheath is that it's adjustable to I don't know how many positions. The clip's a bit bulky, but for all the possibilities, you can't go wrong.

Here's something I put together recently that might be just what you're looking for:

It was made to clip over your pants pocket with the Bali inside your pocket. It holds tight enough to keep it in place, but not too tight that the sheath comes out when you draw. The tension of the pocket or the waistband is what actually keeps the Balisong in place. (so I wouldn't recommend wearing it outside like a regular sheath.)

It can also be worn "In the Waistband" and will work with jeans, sweat pants or gym shorts.

Send me an e-mail if your interested.

clay-
how far does the bali stick out of the pocket/waistband when that sheath is used? would it work in baggier pockets, like bdu pants?
peace.
aleX.

p.s. - didn't know you like manson. neat. :) some of his stuff is good to flip to, as i'm sure you've noticed.

Thanks, for the pic Clay I've been wondering what the new offering looked like. I'll end up with one here pretty soon I'm sure

Alex: It sticks out just just above the second to the last hole nearest to the latch. I've been playing around with one and find it's good for latch drop openings........... just twist slightly inward to break the grip of the sheath and it pulls right out.

Forward grip is also easy...... just slide your Thumb into the pocket (or waistband) and on the Balisong. Then pull the Bali up and out with the Thumb while anchoring the sheath with your index finger.

And, yes it will work with baggy pants....... you style freak :p

P.S: "the Beautiful people" is one of my favorite flippin' songs!

Mykl Clark: I actually made a few of them last weekend. I wasn't sure if there would be any interest, but judging by my e-mail when I got home tonight........ I was wrong. If you want, I'll hold one to the side for ya'. Let me know.
