Balisong Handles

[ChungSan]

There has been alot of talk about different typers of blades that you would like to see on a new balisong. I would be interested in different types of handles as well.

Titanium in my opinion is the best, but I want more choices. What are the top three choices you would make for handles(excluding titanium)?

Here are my choices.

1. Brass Skelotonized
2. Steel Skelotonized
3. Various Wood Types For Inserts

I'm not a big fan of inserts (though I am not opposed to them

).

I'd have to say that my choices would be:

1: Steel skeletonized
2: Steel knurled
3: Steel waved

And of course,the non-steel would be the above in Brass.
I too am not fond of inlays & inserts,but I can deal with them somewhat.

I'd like to see a skeletonized titanium, but with either brass or mokume bolsters set in at the butt-end, for the weight. For those that don't know what that is, mokume is like damascus, but they make it with nickel, brass, and other things like that, in various patterns... very pretty, but with the weight on the ends that would make for a good bali.

Ti is pretty cool but ..."all hale CROM"! Steel is BOSS. Fancy it up all you want.

Weight is everything and light does not always mean good!

P.S. CROM is not Chrome!
