On Chuck's site, there's a list of the movies where balisong appear.

Here is another list I did (sorry it's in French, I just copy-paste it... the English title is between parenthesis).

- American Warrior (American Ninja) avec Michael Dudikoff
- Le Chinois (The Big Brawl) avec Jackie Chan
Jack Burton dans les Griffes du Mandarin (Big Trouble in Little China) avec Kurt Russel
- Volte Face (Face Off) avec John Travolta, Nicholas Cage
- Dans les Griffes du Dragon Rouge (Showdown in Little Tokyo) avec Brandon Lee, Dolph Lundgren
- La Mommie (The Mummy)
- Karate Kid II avec Ralph Macchio
- L’arme Fatale 4 (Lethal Weapon 4) avec Mel Gibson, Jet Li
- Payback avec Mel Gibson
- Les Goonies
- Vampires (de John Carpenter, 1998)
- Punisher, avec Dolph Lundgren
- American Samurai, avec David Bradley

And I've just seen 2 low budget hollywood movies where a balisong appear (as usual, badly handled by a bad guy). This movies are :

- Ninja Turf (with Jun Chong, Phillip Rhee... for those who had liked Best Of The Best)
- Fight to Win (with George Chung, Richard Norton, Cynthia Rothrock...)

If you have seen balisong in other movies (even bad ninja movies :-) ) let me know. I'd like to complete my list.
Thanks

Guillaume

I think I remember seeing one in Alligator 2: The Mutation. Some guy starts reaching into his coat for a gun, and an "alligator hunter" with long white hair pulls out a balisong, whips it open really fast, and in the same motion, throws it. The guy reaching for his gun ducks, and the knife gets stuck in something wooden.

OK...lets see.......
1.the outsiders
2.the mummy
3.goonies
4.blood in blood out
5.10 things i hate about you
6.It(not completly sure)
that's all i can think of off the top of my head!!

I am not sure about IT.... I seem to remeber the knife in that movie being an Italian Stilleto switchblade. There is definately one in Jason Goes to Manhatten

Stephen King's It? I think the knife is supposed to be a switchblade. At least it was in the book. I saw the movie too, but I wasn't paying too much attention.

Don't know if it has been listed yet, but the good guy carried one in Demon Night (Tales From The Crypt).

Don't forget `10 to Midnight' with Charles Bronson, the bad guy had a Spearpoint butterfly knife and in one scene I think he even nicked himself cause I thought I saw him flinch while manipulating it!

yeah, 10 to midnight.

Also Scott Glenn in Code Name Wildgeese .. It was the first time I knew what kind of knife being used (I was still confused while watching Streets of Fire)

Another one starred by Yama****a (the samurai master in Sword of Heaven the bad guy flashed many openings and trainging on straw dummies. The bali seemed to be frost/taylor .. (unsure)3 3/4 inch clip point ...

Another one but I forgot the title, story about Romeo Juliet kind of love but between Italian gang leader's younger brother and a Chinese woman belonging to another gang. The Italian gang leader was stabbed with a bali (another bad reputation build against bali)

In the Mummy Brenden Fraiser's character uses one to remove a scarub (<==sp??) from under some dude's skin. Now there's a positive use for you. Removes flesh eating bugs.
