Balisong in the world : your help is needed

Dear all,

For the beginning of this new year 2002, I took the resolution to update some sections balisong.net :-)
In few days, I should announce a new book about the balisong, be patient.

There are some sections in my site that are "dusty", and your comments are welcome.
Particularly in http://www.balisong.net/en/world.htm, there is an Excel file which tries to give an overview of how the balisong is seen in many countries. This file is old. I completed it after a survey posted here. Since, there are new people here and it's a good reason to propose this file for a review again.

For USA NY State: Y Y N N N (except in NYC where it's Y N N N N).
For Taiwan (ROC): Y Y Y Y N (haven't found a custom maker yet, but I haven't been back for 3 years).

Does ROC stand for Republic Of China? Taiwan is not China yet...

For Brazil: Y Y* Y N Y. (*) The carry is not outlawed, -but- It will depends upon the police officer judgment or humor. The import is OK.

Yes on ROC, and good question on the China issue. No one really knows the right answer since they (the two China's) have been trying to figure it out for 52 years. Technically they both agree there is only one China, it's a matter of which is the right Government.... :confused:

But to keep the bali content, at least Taiwan is no longer the "China" referred to in the "CCC bali's". :rolleyes:
