Balisong Ka-bar, anyone Recognize or know anything about it?

Hello, First poster to this Forum here,

I got myself a old old Knife, It was given to be by my Godfather years ago before he died, and I can't find any information out their about it. I'm not a stranger to Ka-Bars, i have a stacked Leather USMC but that's all in that brand that i have.

I was hooping maybe some of you knew anything about it. Ill show the pics here:

Not sold as a butterfly, but as a folding fish knife. That's why it has a ruler and scaler. My understanding is they date to the 1920's -30's, and they must have been a decently popular knife, based on the amount that survive, relative to other early butterflies.Yours is in nicer shape than many.
