I was perusing the magazine section of my local Giant Eagle yesterday, and happened upon this magazine. I usually don't read any MA magazines.
This one had on the cover: "Balisong Openings: Mastering A Lost Art" I just HAD to look inside. I ended up buying the magazine.
The author of the article, Mat P. Marinas Sr. is someone I never heard of before. He claims to have about 167 opening techniques. I have only bee messing around with the Balisong for a couple of months, but this number astounds me.
I am curious, how many openings do you guys have, and how do you classify them? Also, are you familiar with this author? Has he put out any other stuff that is worth buying?
I am still continously watching Jeff Imada's Balisong video, and still cannot produce his openings
Well, I'll wait to hear from you guys.
TIA,
