Well, today I got a new digital camera so I just HAD to take some knife pictures :D

This is my favorite of the bunch, I just wish it didn't have that 42 marking.

The bm44 didn't reflect light as well so I had to use my ARC-AAA light to brighten it up and then I couldn't get the white balance right :) The knife is really dirty too, I need to wipe it down.

This was a fun picture, the BM42 towers above all of the mess! I don't know if you would want it as a desktop picture though ;)

If these pictures just downright suck let me know but don't hate me too much, this is the first time I have picked up a camera in years, and I have never had anything as complicated as this camera :)
Can anyone guess what kind it is?

Yellow, right?

I sometimes use a Surefire 9P to sweaten specific points. I think they've got better color.
 
Actually, the bm44 (second pictures) came out too blue no matter what color I set the white balance to. Then again.. the light that comes out of the flashlight is more blue than white so I guess the camera was correct :)
 
Very nice Adam. Now if you like, you know where to get some more subject matter for those wallpapers. Maybe you'll like to re-do the Krismas cross for me? My Canon A20 isn't up to par with what you have... ;)

BTW, nice Rhino case in the background of the 42. Now if they only made it for my Pocket PC's. And I'm guessing a Canon G2?
 
LOL, you caught the rhino case (I didn't think ANYONE would identify that) but you missed the Nikon lens cap :)
It's a Coolpix 995, the G2 is great but I am willing to trade a megapixel for the insane macro ability the 995 has.

And YES!!! I would love to take some pictures of NICE knives, not my sniveling little collection teehee :p

I quick pass with the smudge tool and that '42' will dissappear pretty easily. I like that pic too, but think the 42 should stay.
